Shawn Torres is a graduate of New York University. Graduating with honors, Shawn earned a Bachelor of Science in Media Communications with a concentration in graphic design while attending on an academic scholarship. He is a freelance graphic designer and has worked professionally in graphic design for 10 years. During which he has had the pleasure of designing for a wide variety of clients and firms including Tribune Entertainment, Clear Channel Communications (now known as RonDelsener productions), New York University and the City University of New York.
Foremost a graphic designer, Shawn believes that creativity is crucial to any business. Designing for more than a decade; developing the perfect hybrid of sharp literary acumen and artistic talent, he can produce custom work to fit your specific message. He can provide you with a full spectrum of high quality graphic services. Everything from storefront murals to logo development and film production. Shawn Torres is a native New Yorker but currently resides Bowling Green, Kentucky where he works for Fruit of the Loom Inc. He is a web designer and has been working with the Fruit team to update and manage the many company brand sites. When he is not working, which is rare, Shawn likes to DJ, drum and write and is looking forward to one day establishing an independent print and web based media company. Shawn loves all types of music but especially hip-hop, trip-hop, drum and bass and trance. He respects the beauty of all cultures but despises ethnocentricity and identity politics, which is extremely divisive and disruptive. He loves all people and believes in global peace and social equality, which can only exist with democracy and a more equal distribution of wealth worldwide.
Shawn is hopeful about the future and wants to learn as much about this brave, new, dynamic, digitized interactive world we live in.
